Rest of Spain

The Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James, is the most important pilgrimage route in Europe and its many routes offer plenty of choice for pilgrims who travel on foot or by bicycle. The most popular and well-frequented route is the Camino Francés, or French Way, although this doesn't mean it is better or more beautiful than the others. Each route has its own essence, as they are all very different from a historical and cultural point of view. Along with the Camino Francés, or French Way, the Camino Portugués or Portuguese Way, the Camino del Norte or North Way, and La Vía de La Plata or Silver Route are the main routes across Spain. These are long routes that take 2 or 3 weeks to travel in full by bicycle, but we know that you do not have unlimited time for your holiday and that each person has different levels of fitness, so each Camino de Santiago offers several starting points so you can choose the one that suits you best. The number of stages, distance and level of difficulty are described in each itinerary.

Explorabike offers you all the logistical support you need so that you only have to worry about pedalling and enjoying the Camino while we take care of everything else. We work with a wide network of accommodation providers, rent bicycles which are fully equipped for bicycle touring that we deliver and pick up at the start and end of the selected route, provide support material such as guides, detailed maps and GPS data of the route, and offer a daily luggage transport, amongst other services. And so that you travel with more peace of mind, in all our programmes we include civil liability insurance and en-route assistance in case of any unforeseen event such as a mechanical breakdown or any mishap.

Our routes are as flexible as possible, so if you need to adjust any detail of the proposed itineraries such as the number of stages, additional nights at the destination, etc., please contact us.
